Stellar Blue
Description
Matte blue glaze with a slightly granular texture, dotted with small dark variations in thin layers. A soft, mineral effect with subtle natural patina.
• Opacity : opaque — Finish : matte — Texture : light relief
Usage
• Very suitable for understated deciduous trees such as green maples, hornbeams and elms, where its matte blue adds contrast and calm without shine.
• Works well with light or grey bark, which the granular texture highlights in a subtle way.
• Also suitable for rustic trees such as oak, beech and birch, where the slightly patinated look reinforces the natural character of the composition.
• Less appropriate for very formal styles or very colourful blossoms, as its matte tone fits more with natural, mineral aesthetics.
• Excellent for compositions where a discreet, textured, slightly aged blue is desired.

Creation notes
Designed as a “mineral” matte blue, lightly punctuated with dark marks that recall an eroded surface. Texture and patina vary subtly with each firing.
