Burn Turquoise
Description
Very glossy opaque glaze in pastel turquoise, with warm borders ranging from beige to golden brown. The milky surface, typical of the Waterfall family, is here enriched by a soft warm halo that further softens the tone.
• Famille : Waterfall
• Opacity : opaque — Finish : glossy — Texture : smooth
Usage
• Very suitable for bright deciduous trees such as green maples, hornbeams and elms, where the turquoise softens the composition while bringing freshness.
• Excellent on trees with white or pastel blossoms, where the turquoise and warm halo together create a gentle, warm atmosphere.
• Works well with light or slightly warm bark (prunus, crab apple), with the brownish edges creating a continuity of tone.
• Best avoided for very dark or very rustic trees, where the glossy pastel look may appear too delicate.
• Ideal for compositions seeking a balance between freshness and warmth, with a luminous but not cold result.

Creation notes
A variant from the Waterfall family, Burn Turquoise keeps the zinc-opacified base while developing warm golden brown borders depending on thickness and firing. It is a more nuanced, warmer version of Waterfall Turquoise.
