Frosty Blue

Description

Glossy cool blue glaze, dotted with fine dark specks and a slightly milky veil reminiscent of frost. A soft, atmospheric finish, where the blue seems diffused beneath the surface.

• Famille : Frosty

• Opacity : opaque — Finish : glossy — Texture : smooth

Usage

• Ideal for graceful, bright deciduous trees such as green maples, hornbeams and elms, where its cool blue brings freshness and discretion.
• Works very well with light or greyish bark, reinforcing the cool tones of the composition.
• Suitable for trees with white or pale pink blossoms, with the frosty blue acting as an elegant, calming background.
• Best avoided for very dark trunks or red/orange foliage, where the contrast may become too harsh.
• Perfect for compositions seeking a light, fresh and slightly wintry result, without being too glossy or too saturated.

Creation notes

Frosty Blue relies on a cool blue veil and a light frosted effect to evoke winter tones. Each firing reveals a unique distribution of specks and nuances.
