• Ideal for mame, shohin, and kusamono, where its tonal variations add richness and subtlety without stiffness.
• Very well suited to trees with white or pink flowers, the burgundy creating a soft and warm contrast.
• Works well with deciduous trees featuring medium to dark green foliage, adding visual depth through its deep nuances.
• Can be used on larger pots in confident compositions, with attention to glaze thickness to control light/dark balance.
• Less suitable for very rustic or very dark trees, where its chromatic richness may become too dense.
• Perfect for compositions seeking a sensitive, warm, and pictorial feel, where the pot fully contributes to the expression.

Creation notes
Burgundy Mist plays with color diffusion within the glaze body: applied thinly, the cream base remains visible; applied thicker, it transforms into a deep, enveloping burgundy. Each firing reveals a different interpretation.
