Rusty Crackle
Description
Off-white satin glaze, slightly translucent, crossed by a crackle network. The edges shift to green, then to black, creating a very characteristic old, patinated look.
• Opacity : opaque — Finish : satin — Texture : smooth
Usage
• Particularly suitable for rustic deciduous trees such as oaks, hornbeams and elms, where its aged look pairs well with textured trunks.
• Works very well with dark or strongly marked bark, thanks to the contrast between the light centre and patinated edges.
• Suitable for trees with white or pastel blossoms, with the cream background highlighting the flowers without excessive gloss.
• Best reserved for natural, aged or patinated styles, where its green-to-black transitions feel fully coherent.
• Less appropriate for very modern or minimalist compositions, as its patina has strong visual presence.

Creation notes
Conceived as an off-white that looks aged by time, with darkened edges that evoke natural oxidation. Each firing creates unique nuances between green and black, reinforcing its antique character.
